2. ACCESS DATA
I, Tanja Mäder, collect data about website access based on my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and store these as "server log files" on the website’s server. The following data is recorded:

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. Data is stored for security reasons, for example, to investigate misuse cases. If data must be retained for evidentiary purposes, it will be exempt from deletion until the incident is fully resolved.
3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA I COLLECT AND WHY
Media
If I use media on this site, I ensure they do not contain EXIF GPS location data. Users should also avoid uploading images with embedded location data, as this information can be extracted if downloaded.
All photos of individuals used here have been approved by them. Graphics used on this site were either created by me or my contractors and are copyright-protected. Third-party hosted media is embedded in compliance with data protection regulations and follows the same data transfer principles as our website (§12 TMG).
Cookies
To use this website, you must allow me to store some of your data in cookies. Upon your first visit, you can customize which data you allow me to access. This selection can be revoked at any time.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if the visitor had visited the original website directly.
These external websites may collect data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking services, and record your interaction with their content, including tracking if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
4. AnalyTICS SERVICES
The number of visits and the time spent on individual pages are stored via cookies on the server. The data is anonymized and only shows interactions with the website. The website owner can view these statistics when needed.
Page visits from Google Search are also recorded through Google Search Console.
5. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Personal data is not shared with third parties by default. However, data is transferred to Google services through the use of Google Search Console.
6. STORAGE DURATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data collected through cookies, add-ons, comments, or messages will be manually deleted after six months unless otherwise agreed.
7. uSER RIGHTS OVER THEIR DATA
JUsers have the right to access all their personal data at any time. To request this, send an email with the subject "Request Personal Data" to tanja@itsuptoyou.ch.
Requested data will be provided as a PDF document within four weeks.
If an email is misdelivered, it will be manually deleted. The content of your messages and emails will not leave my server without your written consent. Highly sensitive data (e.g., payment information) should not be sent in the initial contact but only after prior agreement to ensure secure transmission.
8. DATA TRNASMISSION
For internal communication, I use the following tools and channels: email, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, landline, mobile phone, and, if applicable, communication tools of my clients (e.g., Slack or MS Teams). A secure HTTPS transport encryption is used for links to conferences, publications, and any online presence. My website and all tools used have a valid SSL certificate.
Apart from designated embedded content, no data is transmitted from this website.

10. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
An SSL certificate ensures a secure connection between our server and your browser.
For linking to social media sites via "Share" buttons, I use the Shariff Wrapper plugin. This means that these buttons are integrated as static graphics that only link to the corresponding provider’s website. Clicking on a button directs you to the provider’s site, just like a regular link.
Only when you visit the provider’s site do they receive information about you, such as your IP address. If you do not click these button graphics, no data exchange occurs. You can find more details about data collection and usage in the respective provider’s privacy policies.
A website service provider was involved in developing this website. The contractor’s privacy policy is also available for review.
No automated profiling is performed on this website. However, Google Search Console may process data under Google's privacy policies. I do not receive any personal data from this process.
An internal reporting system is used to track data protection violations. My activities are subject to self-monitoring as well as external legal consultation in media law.
